Quick update.
Hey there. I know its been awhile but I am doing some major work here lately. I am trying to start my shop, continue my design projects, spend precious time with my babies, make memories with the hubby, and keep a clean house. And that does not include the various day-to-day activities. So whew! Mama is tired. My Riles will be starting school in a couple of weeks and she is beyond excited. She is so organized and loves learning that I know she will adjust with great ease. I just pray she can remain quiet when appropriate. My Jett is training to be a fighter apparently because all he does it beat things up… yes this has been influenced by his daddy. Every time we eat he makes us “notice” how big his muscles have gotten. Then at bed we must ask “where did you get those big muscles?”. He is a boy 100%. So lots going on with our family. Many new changes which I feel are leading to something powerful. God has been doing a lot of work in our lives and I have a peace about things because I know that He is in control. Well for now, thats it about us. Here are a few faves!

1. Stonyfield Organic Yogurt | Simply the best yogurt ever. I am not a fan of Yoplait and all the other yogurt brands but this tastes incredible. Cream top and the fruit on the bottom brands are my fave.

Lovely Birdy!! – get this little birdy here

My man is back! I am sooo glad. I love routine and it is impossible to continue life as it was when he is gone. He is a vital part in our day to day life. This morning I have enjoyed waking up with him beside me and eating cheerios together before he leaves to do errands. I headed out to the gym to get in a quick run before he made it back home.

Now we are about to go to the grocery store. I have been eating a lot of junk in his absence due to convenience. So I am looking forward to stocking up on some fruits and veggies. Lately I have been loving dried pineapple, raisins, and banana chips. For veggies I like to snack on baby carrots, cucumber slices, and tomato sandwiches… (no mayo with wheat bread of course). My guilty pleasure here lately has been “Monster Mix” from target. Its a trail mix with raisins, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, m&ms, and peanuts. Oh I love this! I made the mistake of leaving it in the car during the movie the other day and it melted into a big clump. I found it much easier to eat after putting it in the freezer for a while. It was like a monster mix candy bar… yuummmy.

Oh something else that is rather interesting is that I went running last Thursday for the first time in my new running shoes my hubby got me. They are the ones thay are supposed to make your butt tight and whatnot. Well I woke up the next morning not able to walk my legs were so sore! So I am assuming that means they are working… I have worn them everyday since and no more soreness! But I can tell a huge difference in the definition of my legs. They are called “Reebok Runtone” if you are interested…

I am sure you noticed some layout changes of the site! Well I am getting ready to create a shop on here! I am beyond excited! I have wanted to to this for quite a while. I plan to sell art prints and canvas’.

This is the greatest! I am doing this for my Jetty! He loves cars and he has the little car rugs. I think this would just complete the experience. And when he is not playing with them they would make awesome storage! I also have all the materials to make these at the house already which is a big plus for me..

Dog Mansions for your four legged friends! Well lately the kids and I have been wanting a doggy! Unfortunately since we are renting our landlord disapproves. So we must wait… (sad face) But for those of you who do have a doggy check out these awesome little houses!

Happy Tuesday! Only 4 more days til I see my man again. He is currently out on the road playing his tunes for the world and the kids and I are missing him dearly. He will only be home for 2 days before heading out again for another week but when thats over he will stick around for a bit. I have accomplished quite a lot in his absense. The kids rooms have been “de-cluttered”. I tend to do that once every couple of months. I take a couple trash bags and fill them up with the misfit toys. It’s amazing how much the kids enjoy playing in there rooms after this. And it makes mommy happy too! I managed to clean out my closet as well. Which is still slammed full! I have trouble parting with items that have potential. It’s organized somewhat at least, just very full. I have done tons of work. Still no where near done with my deadlines but I can see a light. I have noticed that I do most of this unnessary tasking to keep me distracted and make time go a little quicker. So far its working! And it’s left me feeling very accomplished in the meantime.

I have a lunch date with the lovely Mrs. Hawk tomorrow and I am super excited. I am so thankful to have the Hawks in our lives. They are expecting in the fall and I cannot wait to buy some baby clothes!

Riles and Jett are crashing in my room this week while daddy is away. The plan was to put them both on the floor, but Riles has made her way into our bed. So I am going to bed before she starts wiggling too much!

The way that human nature was portrayed through Kevin Parson was amazing. Everyone consists of good, evil, and the person struggling in between. Everyone sins just some let there sins dwell in the darkness (lack of acknowledgement) and they become stronger. Even if you do not acknowledge your sin it is still there. Slater’s biggest issue was hidden sins. Everyone has evil and for them to mask them with a “I never sin attitude” set him off. But the truth is yes everyone has the potential to be evil but is not necessarily evil. It is a choice, freewill. The only way to truly beat evil is through the Maker, God. Admitting you are a sinner and have potential to do evil is one of the first steps to avoiding evil. Once Kevin acknowledge Slater he was able to beat him. That was his confession, admitting he struggles with evil and calling Slater out. I love that Ted points out that murder is equal to gossip. Sin is still sin. We all struggle with something different and it is all sourced by the same root, evil.  The fact that Samantha was Kevin blew my mind. I could accept him as Slater but not Sam. So Kevins entire childhood was fake. Between Balindas false reality and his own nothing was real. I was so hoping at least Sam would be. Poor child. Well overall A+ for the book!

Please pray for the families that have been devastated by the weather this weekend! Some are without clean water, power, a home, a car, and help. The Cumberland river has spilled over and still rising. There has been 8 deaths due to this flood. People are still trapped in there homes! Pray for a quick recovery!
